Around 100 enthusiastic children took part in the Key Stage 1 athletics festival. They completed eight activities – long jump, high jump, sprints, overarm throw, ring throw, obstacle race, speed bounce and cone game – before everyone came together for a big (and just slightly chaotic) relay race to finish. All the activities were organised by year 9 students from Mountfitchet Maths and Computing College.
Certificates were awarded to some of the children who achieved ‘fastest, highest, strongest’ scores during the event.
