Winning team from Takeley
After being postponed due to bad weather two weeks ago, the Stansted family girls’ cricket tournament was played. Only three teams could make the new date, but it was quality not quantity as the standard of cricket really was excellent.
With the three teams quite evenly matched it was anyone’s game, but after remaining undefeated Takeley were the winners. St Mary’s Stansted were second, and will join
Takeley representing the Stansted family at the partnership finals after half term, with Manuden coming third. Well played, girls!
