There were finally 8 schools that competed for the Uttlesford School Sport Partnership Kwik Cricket Festival at Saffron Walden School on
Friday 17th June 2012. The weather was extremely wet. However the event needed to take place as the Essex Final was on Monday 25th June
2012 as part of National Sports Week. The matches were extremely close, with full commitment from all teams. The matches were very tight
with Felsted School and RAButler being the only two schools who did not loose throughout the day. The final was extremely taught between
the two however RA Butler caught out their two best players which meant that they one to represent Uttlesford in the Essex Games at Billericay
Cricket Ground.
R A Butler went through to the Essex final and had an excellent day, resulting with them coming through as second in the competition of 22
schools. As a result they are representing Esswes in the Regional Finals on 5th July. Well done to the team and Good luck!!
