Uttlesford Schools enter the Essex Summer Games.

The winning schools in many of the sporting events that have been run by the Uttlesford School Sport Partnership this year took place on

Thursday 28th June 2012 at Basildon Sporting village. There are 14 different partnerships in Essex. Each partnership had the opportunity to

Uttlesford was represented in the swimming by RA Butler School. The year 5 and 6 boys and girls competed. The fantastic 25 metre pool

The races were extremely close with RAButler finishing second losing by 7 points to Moulsham Primary School.

Katherine Semar represented Uttlesford in the High 5 Netball tournamnt after winning in April the partnership event. They had very tough

opposition and finished 4 out of 14 primary Schools.  Dame Bradbury School represented Uttlesford in the Year 3and 4 boys and girls

team tennis. This was an extremely hard fought tournament with the players finishing first. A wonderful result.

In mixed year 6 rounders Manuden School represented the partnership after coming second in the finals the week before held at Newport School.

They had a fantastic day winning all of their matches. They are now travelling to Corby to represent Essex Primary Schools in the Nationals this

Thursday. Good luck to the competitors and watch this space for their results next week!
